Everything we know about Battlefield 6 Season 1


DICE and EA have finally shared more concrete information about what’s changing in Battlefield 6 in the lead-up to October 28’s Season 1 launch, plans for the Battle Royale mode, new maps and modes, and much more via an article on Twitter. We’re breaking down everything we know about Battlefield 6 Season 1 below.

Some minor backend changes and updates have changed how the game plays in ways so minor you might not have even noticed, even if you were playing daily. Here’s everything that’s been adjusted recently:

A bunch of changes and adjustments are coming, but seemingly the most notable are the changes to player movement and how it affects sight reticles.

As we’ve already detailed in our Season 1 Roadmap post, Battlefield 6 Season 1’s Rogue Ops update begins on October 28, and brings with it a new map, mode, two weapons, and two attachments. Even more content will be released on November 18 as part of the California Resistance update, and then some limited-time maps and modes will be available for the Winter Offensive update on December 9.

Players are desperate to hear more about Battlefield 6’s upcoming Battle Royale Mode, and DICE has finally shared some new details. The Battle Royale Mode has been in Battlefield Labs testing since September, and now we know what direction the team will be taking following those play sessions. DICE shared the following:

Vehicle Balance: We’ve adjusted the balance for helicopters and combat vehicles to keep them as powerful tools showing off Battlefield’s core DNA, without making them necessary to survive or win the late game. This includes significant adjustments to the heli countermeasures and ammo economy.
